Zen Story: The Thief and the Master

One evening, Zen master Shichiri Kojun was reciting sutras when a thief entered his house with a sharp sword, demanding “money or life”.

Without any fear, Shichiri said, “Don’t disturb me! Help yourself with the money, it’s in that drawer”. And he resumed his recitation.

The thief was startled by this unexpected reaction, but he proceeded with his business anyway. While he was helping himself with the money, the master stopped and called, “Don’t take all of it. Leave some for me to pay my taxes tomorrow”.

The thief left some money behind and prepared to leave. Just before he left, the master suddenly shouted at him, “You took my money and you didn’t even thank me?! That’s not polite!”.

This time, the thief was really shocked at such fearlessness. He thanked the master and ran away. The thief later told his friends that he had never been so frightened in his life. A few days later, the thief was caught and confessed, among many others, his thieft at Shichiri’s house.

When the master was called as a witness, he said, “No, this man did not steal anything from me. I gave him the money. He even thanked me for it.”

The thief was so touched that he decided to repent. Upon his release from prison, he became a disciple of the master and many years later, he attained Enlightenment.

Yesterday I had a great evening, I met Daniela, one of my former colleagues from high-school.

It's so wonderful when you realize that old connections don't die.

She talked to me about how she loves to write, I kindly recommended her to start blogging, even though 4-5 people read your post, you are read, your writing is read by somebody out there. some body like you, so thank you for reading this.

Regarding the therapeutically approach of writing, of course, when you have a journal you can write there whatever frustrations, intimate desires you might have.

But when you are writing to a certain public page, like this one, things are a bit different, but the discipline of writing every day, or almost every day :), will push your limits.

The Buddhists have a saying, that is good to try to find the middle way, not to push to hard not to become to "laisy daisy" also, go and find your middle way,

Daniela, if you're reading this, start your own blog, and write, just write, you will be so happy when your blog will fly little by little, but little bird from the nest will finally someday fly !

It's very difficult to balance all of my hobbies but I struggle, in order to progress on each of them. 

I play classic guitar and I have just started to play piano.

My goal in life is to get to the first unit of money that matters.

Some years ago that first unit was 1 mio USD, now it has changed.

It is: 3 mio $ that's a lot of money indeed:

3,000,000$ it's incomprehensible number.

As Bill Gates was saying: you have to get 1$ from 3 million people and you have 3 mio $.

That's it, it's is as simple as that.

My NWV, that's net worth value is 150000$, that is, if I sell everything I'll have this money... that 15% of 1 mio that's 5% of a unit....

It might be difficult, but some people made it!

The Importance Of Water

Of course, the niche of my blog looks like to be marketing;

But this is not the case, I decided to write on this blog every kind of issue, idea, thing that pops to my mind.

Today I want to tell how important water is for you and your health.

In the morning, you have to drink water on the empty stomach, at least 2 liters.

After that, if you are a smoker, for every cigarette you smoke you have to drink at least one glass of water, if you drink alcohol, the same, for every bear or glass of wine, you have to drink one glass of water. Don't drink alcohol, it's bad.

Enjoy the day, and don't forget, even if you are not thirsty, drink water, it is more important even than sport!

Simply awake

Not groggy, not zoned out, not hyper, merely awake.

Aware of what’s around us. Present. Seeing things clearly, hearing them as if for the first time.

How often are we lucky enough to be awake?

Mass media, social networks, marketers—they rarely help us become awake. They seek clicking, buying, fearful zombies instead.

The people we seek to serve, those that we’re trying to reach–in the rare moments when they’re awake, are we wasting that tiny slice of magic? Do we create fear or boredom or ennui in the short run merely because it’s easier for us?

Seeking a state of awake seems like a worthy quest. And when we find it, it’s worth cherishing.

there are ... there are ... many things to learn about ... 

To be awake is the key. 

To have a clear mind, to be truly awake and calm. 

It's difficult to find the right state of the mind, to find the mind of others when they are clear, and when we can really connect.

I had a blog superjohnnyboy on blogger, indeed it was great but somehow, somebody, my girlfriend deleted the posts, I had more than 1000 posts there.

I'll use this blog to post about everyday.
